I love stories.

I listen to them. I watch them on TV, videos, or movies. I read them.

And I write them.

I’ve written almost every kind of story there is. Mystery, romance, confession, science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, horror, and every other kind I can think of and garnered a couple prizes and ‘best-selling’ author designations along the way.

I’ve written short stories, novellas, and novels.

In the process I’ve learned that my favorite stories are science fiction and paranormal. Preferably the two combined.

My stories are always clean, they are always either contemporary or near future, they always have at least a slight romantic element, and they always end happily. Always. Guaaranteed. (Okay, two short stories, ‘The River Boy’ and ‘Down From The Mountain’ have endings that might not be considered completely happy. Maybe just somewhat happy. You decide.)

Check out the covers below and see what you think. And have a happy, happy day.

MOST RECENT: PUBLISHED OR WILL BE PUBLISHED SOON

Spirit Legend

I’ve been thinking back to my first full-length book for Winged Publications. It was Spirit Legend, the first of the Legends trilogy, and I wasn’t sure Winged Publications would be interested in it — or any of the Legends trilogy — because it’s not strictly a Christian book.

But, fortunately, Winged Publications has two imprints. One is Forget Me Not Romances and the other — the one that turned out to be important for the Legends trilogy — is Take Me Away Books. That second imprint covers anything that doesn’t fit into the Forget Me Not Romances category but is still acceptable for the Christian and clean readership.

Whew! I’m glad I could publish all of my recent books through one publisher because it’s certainly easier then trying to deal with multiple publishers or to self-publish (that’s another story altogether!) and the people at Winged Publications are great and easy to communicate with.

And Cynthia Hickey does beautiful covers. Absolutely gorgeous. Don’t you agree?

  1. Yay, I’m glad they accepted it, and yes Cynthia Hickey is a very talented lady. Thanks for your blog Florence, I always enjoy reading them. Have a Great Weekend. God Bless you.
