Why do cats sleep so much?
My cat, Smokey, (‘Smoke’ for short) is a tuxedo and his favorite past-time is sleeping. On my bed, exactly where I wanted to drop for a nap. How does he know? On the wide window ledge in the sun where surely he’ll bake into a cat burger. On the small rug at the foot of my bed that he knows belongs to him and him alone. Again, how does he know that was my intent when I bought it? Whatever, he loves to sleep and lets me know that I’m supposed to go along with his napping choices and shouldn’t disturb him before he’s ready to rejoin the world.
So what is it with cats anyway? I’ll never know.
