To receive my newsletter, email me at WitkopFlorence@gmail.com and I’ll do the rest.

I send newsletters whenever I have a new book out, normally three times a year, and that’s the only time I send a newsletter and it’s brief. A couple or three paragraphs and a link to the new book. That will only change if you want it to change and I’ll be surprised if you do because most emails are waaaay too long and there are waaaay too many of them.

But feel free to contact me at my author’s email because I enjoy hearing from my readers. I know. I’m weird.

ABOUT ME:

I’m Florence Witkop and I love stories.

I’m a writer and have been one ever since driving through near-blizzard conditions to the school where I taught while thinking how I’d always intended to become a writer and if I’d followed that dream I wouldn’t be sliding sidewise in the snow to possibly end up stranded in the depths of the forest in a blizzard.

Being a sensible person, when the school year ended, I said goodbye to teaching, became a full-time, professional writer, and have never looked back. I sometimes base my stories around that forest. Or they may take place in the small towns I know and love. Or plumb the depths of the paranormal. Or explore the vastness of space.

I’ve written almost every kind of story there is. Mystery, romance, confession, science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, horror, and every other kind I can think of and garnered a couple prizes and ‘best-selling author’ designations along the way.

When the bricks and mortar publishing industry went bankrupt and my paychecks went up in smoke, like many other writers I made the transition to electronic media. Now I write for the Forget Me Not Romances and Take Me Away Books imprints of Winged Publications. I also have some self-published novels and short stories online.

My stories involve ordinary women caught up in extraordinary situations who end up paired with a protective hero and fall in love with him as he falls in love with her and together they survive whatever is threatening them and live happily ever after.

They are feel-good romances because I like to feel good when I finish a book and I suspect other readers do too.

And, yes, my stories are always clean and wholesome. Always. Guaranteed.
